Logan Martin
As the third lake on the Coosa River chain, Logan Martin Reservoir covers 15,263 acres is located in east-central Alabama about 30 miles east of Birmingham. The lake is 48.5 miles long and has 275 miles of shoreline.
Even with the extreme fishing pressure that Logan Martin receives, largemouth and spotted bass fishing is excellent. Fisheries biologists report good growth rates for both species.
Crappie fish is also good.
White, hybrid and striped bass fishing is popular in the tailwaters below the Neely Henry Dam in spring.
