Tombigbee River
In Alabama, the Tombigbee River flows from west Alabama to the Mobile Delta. The first lake on the river in Alabama is Aliceville Lake, which is on our border with Mississippi. Following Aliceville is Gainesville Lake, Lake Demopolis and Coffeeville Lake.
About 30 miles north of Mobile, the Tombigbee River joins the Alabama River on the Mobile-Baldwin county line to form the Mobile River.
The river and its lakes offer fishing for catfish, largemouth bass, crappie and bream.
